The Yellow Book of Brand Building is the first Slovak audiobook narrated by an author’s voice clone. Slovak entrepreneur and branding expert Mišo Pastier utilized the services of Czech creative AI studio Fameplay. Instead of 96 hours in the studio to create the audio version of his brand bible, just 3 hours were sufficient. Mišo Pastier became the first in Slovakia to use AI technology for creating his audiobook, making him a pioneer in AI technologies for audio content creation. His book is the first Slovak audiobook narrated using the author’s voice clone, which is indistinguishable from listening to the author himself. The clone works with emotions and voice in a highly advanced manner. The audiobook is already available on the Audiolibrix portal in Slovak and will soon be released in other languages.
Revolution in Audio Production: 96 Hours vs. 3 Hours
The traditional path to an audiobook leads through over a hundred hours of work in a recording studio. For a non-professional actor or voice actor, meaning for the author of The Yellow Book of Brand Building, entrepreneur Mišo Pastier, this would represent dozens of weeks of work. Voice training, followed by 96 hours of studio recording (realistically 3-4 hours daily over several weeks). For a successful entrepreneur and investor, this would mean opportunity costs worth tens of thousands of euros.
Instead, Mišo Pastier chose an innovative solution from Czech AI studio Fameplay. Thanks to their experience and processes they built themselves using the best tools tested in practical production work. Mišo Pastier spent only 3 hours at the Fameplay studio during directed cloning of his voice. The result is a voice clone indistinguishable from the original. A clone that can intonate and change delivery just like its owner. Moreover, using the voice clone significantly shortened the book’s production. Fameplay states that currently, 1 hour of book takes an average of 3 hours of work with the voice clone.
Juraj Felix, CEO of Fameplay, states: “We couldn’t have asked for a better author than Michal. His book is content-rich, contains plenty of accompanying visual material that needed to be described in an interesting way, and it features one of the best AI clones we’ve created. Thanks to it, we can now scale Michal’s book into every language in the world.”
Slovak, Czech, and Other Languages Without Accent
Mišo Pastier comments on the technological breakthrough: “I’m very excited about this technological success that will help many entrepreneurs. Czech Republic and Slovakia are small markets, so expansion is essential for many businesses. Companies and owners will be able to scale their content faster and more efficiently with greater reach and impact on new customers thanks to AI technologies.”
A unique advantage of voice clones is their ability to speak in any language without a foreign accent. “Czechs and Slovaks can finally look forward to a dignified way to speak decently in the neighboring language without ruining beautiful Slovak or struggling with pronouncing ‘ř’,” comments Anna Bohoněk, Business Lead at Fameplay, with humor. Voice clones make the most sense precisely when there’s a need to make the author speak in languages they don’t speak. It doesn’t even have to be complicated languages like Slovak, but could be languages like British or American English, Spanish, or French.
