June 17, 2025 – Amazfit, a global brand in the sports wearable market, has expanded its portfolio with the new Amazfit Active 2 Square. The 1.75” AMOLED display is housed in a rectangular case with gently rounded corners and edges, giving the smartwatch a modern lifestyle look. It is aimed at individuals who train regularly, viewing sports as a path to well-being and an essential part of a healthy lifestyle.
The Active 2 Square is designed to perform well during gym workouts and outdoor training alike. The smartwatch supports over 160 sports modes, including HYROX, fitness, running, and padel. The sapphire glass protects the screen from scratches, while high screen brightness (2000 nits) ensures visibility even in bright sunlight. The Amazfit Active 2 Square also offers free offline maps with return-route navigation.
Key health, fitness, and recovery metrics are monitored by the BioTracker™ 6.0 PPG optical sensor. The latest-generation sensor, however, not only ensures more accurate and stable measurements but also contributes to the watch’s overall performance. Despite its relatively small battery capacity, the Active 2 Square can last up to 10 days on a single charge. The smartwatch is very lightweight, weighing just over 31 grams.
Workout data monitored by the Active 2 Square is available in the Zepp App, which also offers AI-powered services such as Zepp Aura, Zepp Coach, and Food Logging for analyzing nutritional values of meals.
With user consent, training data can be shared with external platforms including Apple Health, Google Fit, Health Connect, komoot, Relive, Strava, and TrainingPeaks.
The Active 2 Square is offered with black leather and red sports straps.
The recommended retail price of the Amazfit Active 2 Square is €149.90. The smartwatch is available on European sites of amazfit.com and through selected retail partners.
